What Nixstats is built for
Nixstats is an established provider with dense server overviews and a long track record. It nailed the basic idea early — install the agent, create monitors, done.
UptimoNixstats
Both are hosted server and uptime monitoring. The difference is in the details that matter at 3 a.m.
First
Nixstats is an established provider with dense server overviews and a long track record. It nailed the basic idea early — install the agent, create monitors, done.
Then
Uptimo is the same category but goes further on alerting and locations: two levels per object instead of one threshold per server, one incident per location instead of a global state, and the alert names the place. Plus GPU and Docker metrics in the same agent, and status pages whose vendor line can be switched off.
Note: The statements about Nixstats describe the product's orientation, not an audited feature state. Products change – when in doubt, check with the vendor.
If one threshold per server is enough, the two are close. The moment you want to know which filesystem, container and location is affected — and your customers should see a status page without someone else's logo — Uptimo is the sharper choice.
